The Morning Light is a soft ambient instrumental inspired by that quiet, almost magical moment when darkness begins to surrender to a new day. Gentle synthesizers drift and breathe beneath slowly rising crescendos, like the first rays of sunlight gradually spreading across the horizon.
There is a sense of awakening throughout the piece-of nature stirring, light returning, and another day quietly beginning. The music rises without hurry, then gradually recedes, fading softly as thought the morning has arrived and the world has begun again.
The accompanying image reflects that dreamlike feeling: an ethereal, butterfly-like woman in a flowing, diaphanous gown stands amid a meadow of flowers, with the morning sun shimmering across a peaceful glen beyond her.
