From my childhood days as a member of the Mohawk tribe of the Shackamaxon Longhouse in the YMCA Indian Guides, we were taught the basic rules of respect for nature and consideration of others. The 7 core principles can be summed up as "be respectful of others". That simple concept would solve a lot of the planet's ailments. Noonway!
Core Principles: The Seven Principles are:
1. Plan ahead and prepare,
2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces
3. Dispose of waste properly
4. Leave what you find
5. Minimize campfire impacts
6. Respect wildlife
7. Be considerate of other visitors
