There was a period when I was always trying to fast-forward my life ahead to the future. I wasn't as focused on "today". I bet I missed out on a lot of "stuff" by disrespecting Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Looking back on my 20s and 30s, it was all about "the weekend". It's funny how, as you get older, the value of each day increases. I am more aware that there is a point somewhere up ahead on this "endless road", where an off-ramp with my name on it is waiting. That is not a bad thing, but with that wisdom, I now travel like I own the tires!
