What if the “love-of-your-life” never gave you clearance for a landing? How many love opportunities have been missed because the timing was off by seconds or because of some infinitesimal cosmic blip that resulted in “request denied”? We will never know. It is my opinion that love opportunities are more difficult for a man to find than it is for a woman. A good-looking lady could probably go out on a date every night if she chose to. A man of equal caliber with the same intent might be shot so full of holes that he would no longer cast a shadow. A guy must bring something a little extra just to get out of the dugout… let alone getting an "at bat!"! I'm certain that many nuggets of gold have been sifted right back to the bottom along with the other rocks. I'd like to make a toast to all the "nuggets" screaming, "pick me!"
