From the recording Jungle Buzz
I have spent so much time organizing music files that I nearly forgot how to create something new. I had an idea for a song so I turned on a keyboard, slipped into some comfortable headphones, and went to work. An hour later, I stepped out of the jungle after having survived a humanitarian mission to the deepest parts of Africa. I had been invited to be the apprentice of the renown early 20th-century missionaries, Dr. David Levenrock. Dr. Levenrock was famous for his dangerous missionary work in remote Africa early in the last century. What you may not know is that, although his heart was always in the right place, this time his body was not, and he would not survive the expedition. Conditions were the worst I've ever encountered. We were at the wrong end of the food chain and wild creatures were a risk from every direction. Bugs the size of rats, rats the size of dogs, and snakes the size of tree limbs! The heat and humidity parboiled us. Distant drums were a constant reminder that we weren't there by invitation. The sounds alone could paralyze you. Witness the following...
Lyrics
You don't have to share your Mama... but you must share your goat!
